The bass bite was good here last week, as more fish move up on the bank. Finesse techniques produced fish in the 1.5-3 pound range all over the lake with a few larger fish reported in 20 to 25 feet of water.

Easter Sunday saw the panfish bite start to develop with bluegill to 1.5 pounds reported to the concession last week. Drop shot nightcrawlers was key for the ‘gills. Catfish were no shows last week.

Bass fishing was good last week, the largemouth were taking all types of finesse baits in anywhere from 2’ to 25’ off water. Heavy boat traffic on Sunday made the bite a little harder, but should return to same kind of bite if not better than last week. Bass have been moving up slowly, but are still scattered in 2’ to 25’ of water.
