Catfish were stocked yesterday and are being caught throughout the lake. Lake Wohlford cats respond well to cut mackerel or chicken liver. Catfish action has been a little sluggish. The lake has risen several feet in the last couple of weeks which could mean there is a surplus of food for the catfish to forage. Lake Wohlford cats respond well to cut mackerel or chicken liver. Stop by the ranger station for a dough-bait recipe that works well on both catfish and carp.
