The water level is low at Otay Reservoir but it hasn’t slowed down the fishing! The bass bite is top water in the morning and evenings. During the hot part of the day between 10-20 feet deep. Drop shot, Texas rigs and anything weedless is the thing to throw with the thick grass coming up everywhere throughout the lake. The bluegill bite is picking back up. They were hiding out from the hungry bass coming out of post span for a while. Catfish reports are solid as well.
