The water level is low, the grass growth is high at Lower Otay. Th morning and evening bass bite is top water in the morning. During the hotter part of the day the bass are hiding in grass growth, calling for a weedless setup so you don’t get stuck on the their growth. The bluegill bite is somewhat tough but achievable considering they are hiding out from the hungry male bass. Solid catfish reports coming in daily.
