This is gong to be an epic crappie season here at Lower Otay Reservoir! Considering we didn’t have much of a crappie season last year, its pretty exciting. Solid crappie reported are coming in from all over the lake. It’s hit and miss as per usual for this time of year for bass fishing. Anglers are reporting that bass are about 30 feet deep and that bluegill are between 10-20 feet deep. The bluegill love red worms here, so stop off at concessions and puck up a tub.
