Fishing is still fairly slow here at Lake Murray but there are multiple anglers that are catching anywhere from 7-10 fish daily. The bass have seemed to move into the shallows where as before they were down about 45 feet. Most fo the anglers that are going well have moved to fishing the tulles/reeds with drop shot rigs and senkos. But they are also doing really well using big swimbaits and smaller soft plastic swimbaits like the Megabass Dark sleeper. We ahem also been seeing more and more of a jig bite in the past week or so with quality bass being caught on finesse jigs and small crawdad imitations. Bluegill and crappie fishing continues to be phenomenal with angels catching limits daily. Most bluegill gave been caught with crickets, mealworms or red worms on drop shot. And the crappie have been mainly caught on crappie shiners or jigs. Good luck to all anglers happy fishing!
