The bass bite was fair to good last week, fish have been in the 1.5 lb. to 2.5 lb. range. Finesse techniques fished in 5’ to 30’ of water worked for the most. In the PM hours there has been a bit of a reaction bite developing. Small swimbaits, flukes, and a rigs produced. The red ear started to come on last week, as local angels Cederick Glen reported several in the 2 lbs. range, the biggest tipped the scales at 3 lbs. 2 oz. Glen used red worms 9 in undisclosed location last Thursday. Catfish went unreported to the concession.

San Vicente ReservoirThe bass bite has remained steady on finesse baits fished in 15' to 20' of water all over the lake. Most of the fish are in the 1.5lb. to 3lb. range, with the occasional 4lb. to 5lber. showing as well. San Vicente ReservoirThe cooler weather has pushed a lot of bass off the bank last week, making for a bit tougher conditions. Finesse techniques in 15' to 20' of water produced the best results for fish 1.5lb to 3lb. range. The bigger females have yet to make a good showing this spring.
