Catfish are being caught on the east end of the lake, in Boat Dock Cove, and west of Senior Shoreline. Lake Wohlford cats prefer chicken liver, shrimp, or cut mackerel.
Crappie like a place to hide and so prefer the cover of shade. Crappie bite best on mini-jigs and live golden shiners. They are most often caught in the early mornings or late afternoons.
Largemouth Bass can be found lurking around structure. Bass are being caught on crankbaits, frogs, and dark colored plastics.
