Monday morning update:

The Oceanside 95 has a 1.5 day trip departing Wednesday night at 8pm. Trip price is $435 and includes the mexican permit. THIS TRIP WILL RUN FOR SURE!!! (BOOK HERE)

Good morning fellow anglers! Hilliary is now behind us. Fishing is a great right now with Bluefin biting and increased arrivals of Yellowfin and Dorado.
The T-Bird just announced their 1.5 day trip departing 8-27-23 at 7pm is a WILL RUN FOR SURE!!!. Trip price is $460 and includes the mexican permit. (BOOK HERE)

The Oceanside 95 has an Overnight trip departing Tuesday night at 7pm. We currently have 1 person signed up for this trip. If we get 8 this trip will run for sure. Trip price is $340 and includes the mexican permit. (BOOK HERE) Fishing is really good right now for both Bluefin and Yellowfin!

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.


 
Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip(Schedule)





FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock. The T-Bird called in to report limits of Bluefin Tuna (50), 1 Yellowtail, 16 Bonito, and 100 Rockfish on their 1.5 Day trip with 25 anglers.
