The lake will remain closed for fishing and to the general public on weekdays throughout the fall, as it does every year, We will return to our seven day a week schedule in December at the beginning of trout season. The lake will close for fishing and to the general public on weekdays, as it does every year, after Labor Day beginning Sept. 5th, but will remain open on weekends. Catfish are biting at both ends of the lake. Lake Wohlford cats prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver. Largemouth Bass can be found near structure.
