Best Bait: Night crawlers
Best Spots: Lone Pine and the North Shore

Notables: Henry Seebold of El Cajon caught a 3.5 pound catfish at Lone Pine using a shiner. Chris Gaut of San Diego caught a 3 pound Bass using night crawlers at the wooden dock on the North Shore. The free fishing class is held every Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Meet Ranger Charlie at the Launch Ramp. The decontamination wash down is required for all private vessels and motors before a launch. Also, float tubes and waders must be washed down before using the lake. There is a fee for the wash down.

Fishing has been excellent again this past week. The wildlife is abundant near the Lake. Please watch for deer on and along the highway on your way to the Lake.
