Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. The tackle shop opens at 8:00 am. We are in the midst of duck hunting so our hours have changed somewhat. We are closed all day on Wednesday and until 10 am on Sunday morning. Our D.F.G. License terminal is up and running so you can purchase all of your license products here.
The Annual Junior Waterfowl hunt will be held on Saturday, February 5. If you have a junior who is interested please have them send us a postcard with their name, hunting license number and they will be eligible for the drawing for the hunt. The crappie and trout are biting. Many limits were taken this week. Nothing exceptionally large, but no one wanted to fill out the book so we have no names. Don't forget the free fishing class starts at 10:00 am at the Launch Ramp. Decontamination washdown is required for all private vessels and motors before a launch. Float tubes and waders must be washed down before using the lake. There is a fee for the wash down. For further information or to make reservations for camping, condos or cabins, please call 877-581-9904.
