Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. Our February special is motor boat rental all day $25.00. The gusty winds have kept the anglers away. It has been pretty quiet up here. Those that have wet a line have been very successful. Lots of limits have been taken. Flea of Descanso limited out with the largest of 2 pounds using nitecrawlers. Flea also took a nice 2 1/4 pound catfish He was fishing at the T Dock. Rob Shannon and his friend Bob each limited out with some nice sized Rainbows. It looks like Spring out here right now. The birds are all confused, looking around for nesting material and displaying for their potential mates. Lots of deer in the meadows and along side the highway. They are enjoying the green grass that is coming up everywhere.

Don't forget the free fishing class every Saturday at 10:00 am at the Launch Ramp. Decontamination washdown is required for all private vessels and motors before launch. Check with staff if you have questions For reservations for camping, condos or cabins or rv camping, call 877-581-9904.

Hours:
Monday through Friday - 8 am to 4 pm
Saturday and Sunday - 6 am to 5 pm.
