Lake Conditions:
Surface temperature is 80 and 74.6 around 20 feet. Water visibility is near 3 feet or more.
** IMPORTANT NOTE** There are currently no state fishing licenses available in Lake Morena so be sure you acquire one before you arrive.
Trout
Beginning to decrease in numbers due to changes in the D/O ratio and the waters continuous temperature increase. Anglers are still finding a few rainbow trout using powerbait at the dam and trolling in the middle using rapalas. Best bet is to rent one of our boats and work the lake.

Action at Lake Morena is Fair
Lake MorenaSummer fishing is still doing well at Lake Morena. A little bit of everything. It's a perfect time to enjoy our facilities. Fishing remains consistent with fair action reported from our anglers. Trout: Anglers are still finding rainbow trout in 20 feet or less of water using night crawlers, power bait, Shad raps, spinners and rapalas near the dam and Pumphouse cove.
