Bill Cavanaugh called in to give us an update on the Pacific Queen, "It is Wednesday just before noon, we are not on the water right now but we are departing on a trip tonight. We are doing a 1.5 Day Trip departing tonight, fishing Thursday getting back Friday morning. I'm excited about two things. One I've been watching the weather forecast and weather looks like there will be 10 to 15 knots of wind most of the day but they have downgraded that forecast. It looks like we are going to have very good weather tomorrow which is exciting. That weather should stay nice all the way until Sunday or Monday. It looks like Saturday. It looks like Saturday is going to be flat, freeze calm.

"We have it mapped out where we want to fish tomorrow. With that good forecast for Saturday is we don;t come up with what we want as far as the quantity and quality of fish tomorrow we will do a Magellan run way out to the left. There is a good body of water southwest of Davidson. Anyhow that is what is going on, we are going to have a good group of guys going out and we're looking forward to it. I will call in tomorrow with an albacore report."

However, we could not locate that water, and I became a little concerned. After looking around and seeing a jig boat in the...... Read More

Bill Cavanaugh called to give a report on their 1st trip north. He reported that they made it up to the water that the "Fiesta" fished earlier in the week. The water looked good, but not exactly what they wanted. They searched around in a 20 mile radius and ended up catching 3 fish. To summarize, they looked at a lot of water and weren't too excited about what they found, but they were going to look in another area tomorrow...... Read More
