Lake Wohlford is offering $20 all day motorboats to seniors on Tuesdays and to active military on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
Clement Miner caught and released the first good sized bass for November last weekend. The 6.15# fish was caught using swimbait near Bass Point. Bass can be found near rock piles especially in the morning and late afternoons. Dark colored plastics do particularly well.
A small number of crappie are being caught primarily in the early mornings. Crappie prefer the cover of submerged trees or shady places in which to hide.
