"I wanted to call to give you an update on the Yellowtail fishing we've got going right now," was the first word from Ryan Bostian. Then he went on "There are plenty of Yellowtail in the water. Yesterday the boat went out and caught a total of 5, and hooked 9. These fish are still running the same size, 20 to 33 lbs. We've had several fish over 30 lbs. so they are a true "trophy fish." These fish are not far from the harbor, 2 to 3 miles to be exact. So we are getting at least 8, 9, or 10 hours on the fishing grounds. There are some Yellowtail showing up in Mexico, I'm keeping tabs on that. If it looks like that is going to start picking up down there, we may be back down in Mexico for the weekend. But we'll definitely keep you updated either on SportfishingReport.com or on our boat website San Diego Sportfisher website.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-3383 to get in on the action.
