5/9/13 10:30am - We just heard from Captain Ryan on the San Diego. They have 17 yellowtail on the boat so far for their three quarter day trip. The fish are being caught on a mix of live bait and yo-yo jigs, and they are seeing plenty of fish. Check back in for an updated count. We will post more information as we get it!

5-8-2013The arrival of warmer water conditions has signaled the start of better surface fishing for Yellowtail, Barracuda and Calico bass. Time to have that fly-line bait rig at the ready along with your jig rod. After a stretch of inclement weather we are finally back to fishing here at Seaforth. We have both our 1/2 and 3/4 Day trips scheduled daily. Wednesday's 3/4 Day trip aboard the San Diego is a definite go and based on the reservations it looks to be a light load. The Yellowtail have had several days with little to no pressure, so hopefully they are ready to bite. ...... Read More
