5/9/13 10:30am - We just heard from Captain Ryan on the San Diego. They have 17 yellowtail on the boat so far for their three quarter day trip. The fish are being caught on a mix of live bait and yo-yo jigs, and they are seeing plenty of fish. Check back in for an updated count. We will post more information as we get it!

Surface fishing heats up

The arrival of warmer water conditions has signaled the start of better surface fishing for Yellowtail, Barracuda and Calico bass. Time to have that fly-line bait rig at the ready along with your jig rod. After a stretch of inclement weather we are finally back to fishing here at Seaforth. We have both our 1/2 and 3/4 Day trips scheduled daily. Wednesday's 3/4 Day trip aboard the San Diego is a definite go and based on the reservations it looks to be a light load.
