Nature Walk: The self guided walk is 3 1/2 miles around the lake. The trail is open for daily use.
Free Fishing Class Saturday at 10:AM: No class due to DERBY. Ask any volunteer with a MUSTAD HAT and a tackle pack on Saturday. Prognosis:!! With the stocking of trout and cooling water temps the trout will be providing plenty of action for bait dunkers and hardware chuckers. Another stocking of Channel Cats up to 10 lbs last week, has the cats on the prowl. The LIMIT style action for CRAPPIE will continue to be wide open. Use a small glow in the dark jig( 1/64 or 1/32 oz) for this small and tasty treat. Bullhead catfish looking for a worm on the bottom. Bring up the whole family to experience a wonderful time at the FREE " O.P.Ball" memorial "FISHING IN THE PINES" Kids Derby.
THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS NOW OPERATIONAL PRIVATE VESSELS ALLOWED AFTER WASH DOWN! A fee is charged. (boats, motors, kayaks, canoes, float tubs, waders) More details under boat wash down.
