Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca: With the Stocking of TROUT last week from Jess Ranch Fish Hatchery 1,700 lbs with some trophies included, and1,600lbs from Mojave D.F.G. there are plenty of trout in the lake available for the anglers. The Kids derby was a great event with 655 kids registering. Everybody had a outstanding time. Trout were caught all over the lake, most were taken on night crawlers fished from the top down. !!!!THANK YOU to all the Sponsors and Volunteers.!!!

We are now taking reservations for the new RV group camp located in the Over flow area. The area is set up for a total of 8 rigs but has a minimum of 4. The rate is $200.00 a night for all 8 sites. Can be rented by singles if not reserved. !!!! Also added 7 tent sites in the Lone Pine area !!! Call 877-581-9904 for info..

Prognosis:!! Fall weather and the stocking of trout, will provide plenty of action for bait dunkers and hardware chuckers. A total of 3,300lbs was stocked last week so the inventory is in the anglers favor. Trout seem to be schooling so seek them out. Crappie and Bullheads are as aggressive as always. Channel Cats around the rock structures.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS NOW OPERATIONAL PRIVATE VESSELS ALLOWED AFTER WASH DOWN! A fee is charged. (boats, motors, kayaks, canoes, float tubs, waders) More details under boat wash down.
