In the early am hours, look for the bass up on the bank. Most reaction baits have been working on these fish. Later on its been a finesse bite in the 25’ to 35’ of water all over the lake. Drop shot, ned rig, etc. all produced this past week. Anglers after panfish are still picking up both bluegill and red ear in the Barona and Kimball arms of the lake. Drop shotting meal worms in the 20’ of water was reportedly the key to success. Catfish were M.I.A last week.

San Vicente ReservoirEarly morning hours have the largies packed up and chasing baby bluegill and bass right on the bank, creating some exciting angling opportunities. Top waters, flukes, swimbaits, etc. all work for these fish.
