Greeting from Lake Cuyamaca. The Spring weather is still here and we are enjoying all the sights and sounds. The Bald Eagles are giving their daily performance. Don't know how much longer they plan on being here so while you are out on the lake catching fish, look up now and then. Fishing has been excellent. Lots of limits and one big bass.

WE ARE NOW OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK AT 6 AM.
CLOSING TIME VARIES ACCORDING TO SUNSET

Trout Bait: Orange Power Bait, Rainbow Power Bait and Nightcrawlers with added scent.

Best Spots: Buoy Line, pretty much all over North Shore.

Best Lures: Orange Rapala, Yellow Rooster Tail. Dipped in scent.

Notable: March 16, Flea of Descanso, took a limit of Rainbows, largest was 2 pounds. On the 19th, Flea was back and got another limit of Trout. And, at the South Buoy Line, hooked a 10 pound Bass with Rainbow Power Bait. The Bass had a 6 inch trout in his stomach. Not a bad day of fishing. Terry Thomas, unknown city, hooked a 5 1/2 pound trout on orange Power Bait at Lone Pine. John and Isaac Baay of Julian hooked a 5 pound Rainbow on chartruse Power Bait at Lone Pine. David Brown and sons from San Diego got a 15 pound limit of trout. Largest was 4 1/2 pounder at the No. Finger Jetty.

Limits were also taken by Jason Herriott and his wife of Julian, Josh Wesolowski, and Bruce Bickill of San Diego.

Jess Ranch will be stocking 1,200 pounds of Rainbow Trout this week.

Free Fishing Class Saturdays at 10 AM. Meet Charlie or Michael at the Launch Ramp.

Check on the availability of our lovely Lakeview Condos. The perfect getaway. And we allow your well behaved pet.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE LAUNCH. A FEE IS CHARGED.
