Greeting from Lake Cuyamaca. Fishing continues to be excellent all over the lake. Lots of limits being taken.

WE ARE NOW OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6 AM. CLOSING TIME VARIES ACCORDING TO SUNSET

Best Trout Bait: Orange Power Bait, Rainbow Power Bait and Nightcrawlers dipped in scent.

Best Spots: Lone Pine, Chambers Park, and pretty much all over the Lake.

Best Lures: Kastmaster, Orange Rapala, dipped in scent.

Notable: Steve Boschen of San Diego caught a 4 lb. 13 oz Rainbow on a Silver Spoon at the Dike. Mike Plomgren of Carlsbad hooked a 4 lb. trout using nightcrawlers at a Secret Spot. Jim Riggs of Ramona got a 4 1/2 trout using Rainbow Power Bait and Krill Scent at Lone Pine. Limits were taken by the Seilhammers from Temecula at North Shore and Katie Elliott of Carlsbad at the . West Finger Jetty.

Jess Ranch delivered 1200 pounds of trout this week and DFG also delivered 1600 pounds of trout the same day.
Jess Ranch will be bringing another load of trout this coming Week of March 30. Fishing should be great.
