Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. Fishing continues to be excellent all over the lake. Jess Ranch will be stocking the lake again this week The weather was beautiful this past week with lows about 40 in the morning and up to the mid 70's in the afternoon.
Check out our mid-week specials on the Lake view condos. $150/per night and you get a free boat rental on the day of your choice. The Lake Cuyamaca Restaurant has delicious specials every weekday.
WE ARE NOW OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6:00 AM. CLOSING TIME FOR SHORE FISHING IS 7:45 PM.
BEST TROUT BAIT: Night crawlers and power bait.
BEST SPOTS: Pump house Cove, Lone Pine, Fletcher Island.
Notables: Andrew Treadway, 12 years old from Barrett Junction took a large mouth Bass weighing 2.1 pounds. He was using a gold Kassmaster at the North Shore dock. He also took 23 crappie.
The Sierra Bow's are still being caught all over the lake this week. Bass are starting to bite and several very large ones have been sited. The Crappie bite has started as well.
Free Fishing class every Saturday at 10:00 am. Meet Ranger Charlie or Ranger Jay at the launch ramp.
THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH. A FEE IS CHARGED.
