Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. Fishing continues to be excellent all over the lake. Jess Ranch will be stocking the lake next week. Wildlife is abundant all around the area and the wild flowers are blooming. The weather was beautiful this past week with not too much wind.

BEST TROUT BAIT: Night crawlers and power bait.

BEST SPOTS: Pump house Cove, Lone Pine, Fletcher Island.

Notables: Greg Peck of San Diego caught a 3.15lb trout at pump house cove using a silver lure. Leo Rauthause and dad of Pacific Beach caught 10 trout and 10 crappie on Leo's 10th birthday. At least 20 of the Sierra Bow's have been caught all over the lake: pump house cove, Lone Pine and the North Shore.
