Greeting from Lake Cuyamaca. Looks like summer is finally here. Clear warm days with calm mornings when the lake looks like glass. Fishing has been excellant.

Trout Bait: Nightcrawlers and any color Power Bait.

Best Spots: Pretty much all over. Shore as well as from a boat.

Notables:

- Gage Wilson got a 7 lb 4 oz. Largemouth Bass using a Senco Lure near the Boat Dock.
- Cary Faushing of Santee hooked a 4 lb. Rainbow with Power Bait near the Dam.
- Michael Harding of San Diego took an 8 lb. trout using Powerbait and Nightcrawlers.
- Charlie Haynes and Imelda Robinson had a good day fishing. Two limits of trout, the largest 6 lbs. and 50 Crappie from the T Dock.
- David Bates of El Cajon got a 4 lb.13 oz. Rainbow at the North Shore Handicap Dock. He was using a Thomas Bouyant Lure.
- Zachery Okesson and his Dad of Ramona got 7 Rainbows.

Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. Fishing continues to be good all over the lake. We have had some of the clouds and wind, but not much of the "marine layer" that you see at the beach. The fishing has been very good this past week. All over the lake. The thunder and lightning that was over most of the County this week never materialized up here. Some clouds and wind but that's all.
