Greeting from Lake Cuyamaca. Fishing continues to be good. We have stocked the lake this week with both Jess Ranch trout and DFG. A total of 2500 pounds.
BEST TROUT BAIT: Power Bait, Night crawlers, Lures
BEST SPOTS: Dike, North Shore, T-Dock
Notables: Jarrett Jones, 8 years old, from San Diego caught a 2 pound trout with an orange/chrome Kastmaster while trolling. Steve France of El Cajon caught a Catfish weighing in at 11 pounds on chicken livers by the Dike. Michael Garcia of El Centro caught 1 trout weighing 1 1/2 pounds on a night crawler along the North Shore. Ryan Thompson of Chula Vista caught a 3 pound 10 oz Bass with a night crawler on the shoreline next to the T-Dock.
Free Fishing Class on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Meet Ranger Charlie or Ranger Jay at the Launch Ramp.

Lake CuyamacaGreetings from Lake Cuyamaca. Fishing continues to be good all over the lake. We have had some of the clouds and wind, but not much of the "marine layer" that you see at the beach. Trout Bait: Nightcrawlers and Power bait, Black Wooly Bugger Best Spots: Dyke area, South end, Lone Pine, West finger jetty Notables: - Craig and Sheila Richards of Temecula.
