GREETINGS FROM LAKE CUYAMACA
WE ARE NOW OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6 AM. CLOSING TIME FOR SHORE FISHING IS 7:45 PM.

Best Trout Bait: Power Bait, Nightcrawlers, lures

Best Spots: North Shore, Dam, T-Dock

NOTABLES:
- Stephane Vortzwinkler, Jr. of Coronado limited out with Rainbow trout at the Dam. Largest was 2.6 lbs.
- Ranger Beckie Strahan got 4 trout at the Dam. The largest was 3.5 pounds using nightcrawlers
- Robert Sayasane of San Diego did well at Lone Pine catching 5 trout with Chartruse Powerbait . The largest was 2 pounds.

Lots of limits coming out. Best spot is trolling the Dam area. Trolling is the way to go right now, all over the lake.

THE FREE FISHING CLASS IS ON SATURDAY AT 10:00. MEET RANGER CHARLIE AT THE LAUNCH RAMP.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH. A FEE IS CHARGED.

Greeting from Lake Cuyamaca. Looks like summer is finally here. Clear warm days with calm mornings when the lake looks like glass. Fishing has been excellant.
