Bass fishing has picked up from last week. Wednesday being the best. Huge shad ball are forming, epically in Otay Arm. Bass are breaking on the shad. Anglers are throwing jerk baits and anything that are shad shaped. Crappie are still being caught at North Point. The Bluegill bite is still good and red worms are their favorite here at Otay. Huge blue cats out in Bushlows Cove. Stop by concessions for your catfish bait and rent a boat to get out there.
