Bass fishing was slow on Saturday but picked up on Sunday. Shad is everywhere and the bass are breaking and chasing in the early morning and evening. During the heat of the day moving into the shade of the tallies. Swimbaits, jerk baits and crank baits are the anglers choice. The bluegill bit remains good. Crappier reports still coming out of North Point. The catfish are in the dam arm at about 90 feet. Stop by concessions to rent a boat for the day and pick up tackle and live bait.
