The bass population is finally starting to key in on the silversides. Look for breaking fish on the banks early, and open water in the later a.m. hours. In the mid day, most of the biters coming out 25' to 35' on finesse baits. Still some small bluegill showing, but they seem to be about done for the season. Catfish went unreported to the concession last week.

Not much has changed here from the week before, most of the biters have come on finesse techniques fished in 20' to 30' of water all over the lake. A lot of silversides on the banks, but only a couple of sightings of breaking fish in open water so far. Look for this bite to develop soon! The bass bite was fair at best last week, most guys having to put in work to scratch out a limit of 1lb. to 2lb. fish. There are silversides all over the place, but no fish on them as of yet. Hopefully this will turn around soon. Still some bluegil coming in on drop shot nightcrawlers, but most of the panfish are handsize. Catfish went unreported to the concession last week. ......
