- Stocking: The lake was stocked with 1,000 pounds the week of August 15th. The next stocking will be the week of September 5th. The lake has been stocked with 5,750 pounds of catfish so far this season. The full catfish stocking schedule can be viewed HERE.
- What's the catch? Friday night was a productive night! Lots of limits of catfish were reeled in around Siesta Cove and the Hermit Cove buoy line. It was reported that they were biting on mackerel and dip bait. Bluegill are plentiful during the heat of the day. Reel them in quickly before the bass get to them! Meal worms and a third of a nightcrawler are always good bait for attracting a bite. Half Moon and Cloister Coves are good spots for Bluegill. The bass are being elusive. Many have seen some of the lunkers in our lake, but they are not biting. Don't forget to send us pics of your catch! You can tag us @lakejennings on social media or email them to ranger@lakejennings.org.
