Wohlford will be closed to the public on weekdays after Labor Day. Just one more week to take advantage of the Tuesday/Thursday senior discount on boats or to fish on a weekday. We will re-open for weekday use at the beginning of trout season in mid-December.

Catfish have been biting throughout the lake. Lake Wohlford cats prefer chicken liver, shrimp, or cut mackerel.

Crappie are being caught in small numbers in the early morning or late afternoon. They are most often caught on crappie jigs or live golden shiners.

Largemouth Bass can be found lurking around structure. Bass are going after shad raps, swimbaits, and dark colored plastics.
