Lake Conditions: Surface temperature is 50.5 and 50.0 @ 20ft.
Water Clarity: Visibility is at about 2' to 3'.

** IMPORTANT NOTE** There are currently no state fishing licenses available in the Lake Morena area so be sure you acquire one before you arrive. The State Licenses is required.

Trout: Another 1,000lbs of Lassen's finest rainbow have been delivered this week. Refresh your lines for some of these fish could be testing their limit. Geezer cove has been the spot as they seem to have found a hole there. Jim Rice, from Alpine clobbered a 7lb 8oz 'Bow with crank bait. Young Mr. Christian Fry, pictured above fooled a 2 lb 2 oz trout with a nightcrawler. Mike Heckman, Photo #1 from El Cajon nabbed a 7lb 8ozer with a silver Kastmaster. Jermy Ramarez, Photo #2 of Lakeside hauled a limit totaling 7lb 12oz using a rooster tail near the dock. Randy Minniear from Campo limited with 8 lbs 14 oz using powerbait in Geezer cove. And Mack Mitchell fooled his limit of 10 lbs 2 oz with the same.

Bass: Nothing much new. No Bass reported this week

Catfish: The catfish were found this week in Geezer cove too. Young Dane Johnson Jr., got a 2 lb 9 oz cat to chew a worm.

Blue Gill: A few of the pan fish were reported as the anglers were casting for trout.

Crappie: The crappie bite has slowed up once again.

Carp: These fish are saving themselves for another time.
