Trout Plenty of anglers to talk about this week. Dustin Walker, pictured above swears he was using mackerel to haul in a 9 lb 4 oz limit of rainbows. Dan Jacobsmeier, Photo #4 was more conventional using nightcrawlers to fool a10lb limit with the largest being 5lbs 2oz. Joe Wayman floated around Paradise cove to managed 3.8 and a 2.8 with Powerbait. Randy Minniear and Aaron Colombo hunkered down in Paradise cove to limit their 'bows with "micetails" and garlic powerbait. Mike Seebold found a stringer of 7 lbs 6 ozs in Geezer cove. Geezer cove was the spot for Joe James limiting with 9 lbs 2 oz. with green powerbait. And Buck Rickles, Photo #1 a regular since 1954 when he had to provide for his family out of Lake Morena had a good day with a limit totaling 18lbs 10ozs with powerbait. Dan and Mai Sansome both caught their limits all totaled 22 lbs 2 ozs with the largest being 5lbs 12ozs with green sparkled powerbait in Paradise cove.

Bass Bass are beginning to stir here. Brian Fansher, Photo #2 of Campo beguiled a 10lb 4ozer and won't tell where and how. We're lucky to get a picture before he released it.

Catfish A few anglers were surprised to find a catfish on their hook while trout fishing. One such angler was Mania Benyamin using nightcrawlers when he fooled a 4lb 4ozer along Geezer cove. Joe Fletcher nabbed 3 cats and one trout with Powerbait and nightcrawlers "somewhere" on the shore. Jojo Phairmany, Photo #3 and friends brought out a stringer of whiskers weighing 19lbs from near the boat dock.
