Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca:?? Mojave?? D.F.G. showed up once again with a load of trout. This added to the inventory has the lake full of trout. Cold water temps has slowed down the action. It seems to be a later bite, so sleep in the fish are. Trout??are taking inflated night crawlers with scent and dough baits. Patient anglers are catching limits of mixed sized trout. Five Tagged trout good for a "Day on the Lake" gift certificate are waiting for you.

Trout Bait: 12-20 inch leader off the bottom inflated night crawler smeared with scent, Power Bait,??and Power Worms.?? (Pautzkes Krill gel or liquid Krill scent)??????
Best Trout Lures: Gold Panther Martins, Kastmaster. Use scent (Krill gel works best)??
Best Trout Spots: Lone Pine, Shore line Chambers Park, Dike, Finger Jetty's
Notable:??Chris Cornette Julian, 2lbs 6oz Alpers, power worm/ power bait combo, Lone Pine boat. Gary Motike, Pine Valley, 2lbs 8oz Rainbow, Power bait/ Eggs combo, Island. Nature Walk: The guided walk will be conducted by Clint Powell January 6, at 1 P.M. .The trail is open for daily use. 3 1/2 miles around the lake.
Free Fishing Class Saturday at 10:AM:?? Ranger Willard will teach tried and true trout tactics.
Prognosis:!! With the cold water temps the bite will be?? mid morning-afternoon. Fishing Inflated Night Crawlers with scent; Dough Baits with scent; and Salmon eggs should provide action for anglers with patience.?? Drifting tube jigs with scent should be irresistible. The??
