Park Hours: 6:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Open seven days a week. (Closed X-mas day)
Dock Closes: 4:30 P.M.

In order to protect Wohlford from invasive exotic Quagga mussels, there is still a temporary ban on private water craft and equipment that could have been exposed to mussels. Restricted equipment includes private boats, canoes, kayaks, float tubes, trolling motors, fish finders, anchors and other equipment that contacts the water.
Lake Wohlford is offering $20 all day motorboats to seniors on Tuesdays and to active military on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
TROUT
Trout fishing is good and only stands to get better with Wednesday's plant. Keith White of Valley Center landed the largest trout of the season thus far on Friday. The eight pound fish was caught on rainbow powerbait on Senior Shoreline. Fausto Barron of Escondido weighed in a 6.20# trout caught on a nightcrawler and powerbait combination, also on Senior Shorelinere. Inflated nightcrawlers or powerbait and/or powerworms , often dipped in a garlic sauce, have been the hot baits. Senior Shoreline, and the cove next to the South Shore Rock Pile have been the most productive areas.
BASS
Bass are to be found in the early morning and late afternoons lingering near submerged rock-piles lying in wait for the trout. This would be an excellent time to be using swimbait that resembles a small trout in hopes of landing a big bass.
CRAPPIE
A small number of crappie are being caught mostly early in the day. Crappie respond well to finger jigs or live golden shiners and prefer shady places in which to hide.
