Dock Closes: 4:30 P.M.

Water Temperature: At surface 50.90 f., 5.82 D.O. @ 15' 50.90 f., 6.10 D.O.
Water Level: Low level, private water craft are currently banned.
In order to protect Wohlford from invasive exotic Quagga mussels, there is still a temporary ban on private water craft and equipment that could have been exposed to mussels. Restricted equipment includes private boats, canoes, kayaks, float tubes, trolling motors, fish finders, anchors, and other equipment that contacts the water.
Lake Wohlford is offering $20 all day motorboats to seniors on Tuesdays and to active military on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
The trout fishing has been excellent with many limits being taken from Boat Dock Cove in particular. Manny Fonseca of Escondido had the largest trout of the past week at 10.35#s caught at the East Buoys on green powerbait. In addition, Felix Lopez caught a 6.10# trout on orange powerbait on Senior Shoreline. Powerbaits & powerworms (greens and yellows) along with inflated nightcrawlers have been the preferred baits.
We are still waiting for the water to warm up and the bass to begin biting. Bass can be found around structure and bite in the early mornings and late afternoons.
